Ingrid Vrakking has many years of experience with dogs, owns a training centre for dogs and is director of Stichting Assistentiehond Nederland. This foundation trains dogs for persons with a disability (see www.assistentiehond.nl).
Ingrid, being asthmatic, had increasingly more contact with people who wanted a dog, but were not able to own one because of allergies or asthma.
From the assistance dog world, she heard about the Labradoodles, of which several have been trained in the foundation.
However, she became even more excited when she heard about the Goldendoodle. Because no breeders were located in Europe, the first dogs, Snoozle and Jeeba, are imported from America.
She decided that more people should know about these friendly dogs, therefore the started breeding Goldendoodles.
