Goldendoodles

The Goldendoodle is a cross-breed between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. This dog was initially bred to create dogs that have little to no hair loss, making it possible for allergic persons to still enjoy having a dog.

A new breed

After the Labradoodle (cross-breed Labrador-Poodle) was created in Australia, the Goldendoodle arised in North America as a guidance dog for blind people. This way, the best of both breeds was included in one dog, which also has minimal hair loss. Nowadays, this dog breed is regularly used in America as assistance dog.
Of every litter Kings Goldendoodles Europe breeds, several pups are used as therapy dogs for autistic children or as assistance dog (www.assistentiehond.nl).

There are two sizes of Goldendoodles and they can have the colours chocolate, white, black, crème and apricot. More information about their appearance can be found under appearance.
Due to behavioural characteristics, Kings Goldendoodles Europe is specialized in white and crème coloured dogs.
